Chairman - Atlanta Federal Executive Board, Executive Director
Mr Stephens works directly with over 120 Federal Agency Leaders in Atlanta, representing 47,000 Federal employees. His twenty-two years of public service includes: promoting the US Presidential initiatives; serving as a catalyst to produce federal, state, and local interagency collaborative initiatives; developing partnerships and initiatives in emergency preparedness and employee safety; facilitating interagency workforce development programs; and intergovernmental and community partnerships.
Mr. Stephens is currently the Region IV Co-Chair for the White House Initiative on Asian American Pacific Islanders. In addition to his many responsibilities, Mr. Stephens also provides oversight to the Greater Atlanta – Athens Combined Federal Campaign, where over $3.9 million was raised for nonprofit organizations in 2015. In addition, Mr. Stephens has oversight of the Federal Executive Board’s Leadership Government Program, a rigorous year-long government-wide leadership development program. The Program, now in its fourteenth year, has graduated over 500 federal executives into federal service. He also heads the Peak Performance Program for Aspiring Leaders; a leadership development program for mid-career federal employees.
Ron recently received the National FEB Executive Director of the Year Award from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) in Washington D.C., for his leadership in the FEB National Network. Ron is also a graduate of Leadership Atlanta (2014).
Ron serves as a Board Member for Empower 54, an international humanitarian organization, and the Paul Anthony Live Life Foundation, and volunteers in the community regularly.
