On April 30th 2016, history will be made as the City of Atlanta unites with Empower54 to Rise Above Terror. Through the auction of African arts, we will raise funds to help survivors of terrorism commence the process of rebuilding their lives and communities.

2016 Giving Focus: Proceeds from the art auction goes towards establishing schools in IDP camps and rebuilding schools destroyed by Boko Haram in North East Nigeria.

2016 African Art Focus: Auctioning stunning African Paintings and breathtaking handicrafts representing the Kings, Queens, traditions, and rich history of the legendary ancient Benin Kingdom (Edo State, Nigeria)

Partners: The City of Atlanta, Desmond & Leah Tutu Foundation, Borno State Government (Nigeria), Andrew Young Foundation, Africa Atlanta, Besharat Gallery, Nigeria High Consulate (Atlanta), Body Enhancement Ltd, & Fox5 Tv.

We will also give you first hand visuals of communities destroyed by Boko Haram and life inside the IDP camps. The photographs were taken by legendary Nigerian photographer, Don Barber, on a high risk assessment tour with Princess Modupe Ozolua to remote villages ravaged by Boko Haram.

Event Ticket includes admission, free valet parking, coat check, drinks, hors d'oeuvres/canapés, right to bid for art pieces, customized hand crafted African souvenirs, and event program.
