The highly anticipated World Bank/IMF Spring Meetings were conducted in Washington, DC from April 14th to 17th 2015. All participants were carefully screened and only reputable civil societies (NGOs) from all over the World were authorized to attend.
Princess Modupe Ozolua, who is a Social Entrepreneur and renowned Philanthropist, was amongst those approved to attend the Spring Meetings. During the meetings, CSOs discussed how to work together to impact the underprivileged in society and benefits from opportunities within the World Bank.
During panel discussions, Ozolua drew attention to the plight of internally displaced women and children and how her organization has rehabilitated some camps in Gombe and Adamawa States and intend doing more.
